Frolla Microbiscuit Factory

The true story of Frolla is linked to the creation of a business model that aims to enhance the skills of the children involved in processing, abolishing the concept of punishment, a feeling with which people with disabilities are too often and incorrectly viewed. Frolla biscuits are sold mainly because they are extremely tasty and made with high quality raw materials. A crucial step, because quality is precisely the main reason why the public chooses them. In fact, a meticulous selection of raw materials, possibly from the Marche region, is one of the pillars of the Frolla model. This is thanks to a consolidated network of food companies that work every day with passion and care to create high quality products. We developed the project based on simple things, in fact as our slogan states: Shortcrust pastry one of the simplest foods… But not banal! We wanted a pastry product that everyone could have in common, produced by young people with disabilities! So we thought about the biscuit, the one made like in the old days..

Changing the world with sweetness

We realized that many young people with disabilities possess important skills and abilities that, unfortunately, they are unable to express and develop. It’s like a fire without fuel, slowly fading away. These young people harbor a burning passion within them, yet lack the means to ignite it! This is where the Frolla project was born, with the aim of producing artisanal biscuits while providing job opportunities for young people with disabilities. Our journey began with a simple test, sharing images of gourmet biscuits on Facebook and Instagram. As people began to appreciate our creations, we decided to shed light on our mission through a video showcasing our talented team at work. The response was overwhelming! We started receiving hundreds of messages from people interested in the project. We managed to secure a spot in a business incubator and launch a successful crowdfunding campaign, exceeding our initial goals by almost triple.
