The FROLLABUS project sets its main goal as the development of disadvantaged individuals’ work autonomy through the creation of an innovative breakfast service capable of addressing the current pandemic situation, which has led to the need to transform the way work is done. Therefore, Frolla aims to increase and renew its bar and pastry service through the FROLLABUS project: a small van will take Frolla’s products around squares, cities, beaches, streets, markets and fairs across Italy. Currently, the Cooperative works in San Paterniano di Osimo (AN), where, in addition to the laboratory, there is also a bar for breakfast and aperitifs. Given the obvious difficulty of remaining open on weekends and evenings, due to the lower customer flow caused by travel restrictions between municipalities, having a bus available for free movement is both convenient and innovative: it improves service and allows not to interrupt work in the event of lockdowns.

A mobile bar with many products
So, it was decided to take a step in the opposite direction: if it’s not possible to have breakfast at Frolla, then Frolla will serve breakfast across the Marche region. With FROLLABUS, the cooperative will have at its disposal a small bus, which can accommodate up to three (3) people, that will act as a mobile bar offering a wide range of products: coffee, cappuccinos, croissants, biscuits, pizzas and sandwiches. The purchased bus is a brand-new PIAGGIO PORTER model with a 1300cc PETROL engine EURO 6, equipped with all the necessary equipment for onboard sales:
– Opening rigid doors;
– Sliding front counter with stainless steel surface;
– Rear counter base with stainless steel work surface and storage compartment;
– Refrigerated display case;
– Certified electrical system with external connection socket and LED lights.
