Sharing, quality, responsibility

We started exactly on May 12, 2018, with a big hug, an open heart, and the belief that we could “change the world with sweetness.” Over the years, we’ve experimented with many recipes to create our famous cookies that foster inclusion, and we’ve even written one that reminds us of where we started and guides us along the path we want to take. The recipe calls for three simple ingredients: sharing, quality, responsibility.

All businesses that include social purpose in their activities automatically become not only producers of goods, but also of services. Services directed towards the community to increase the value of the common good!

“It seems that those cookies embody everything.”

“It seems to me that those cookies embody everything: the tenacity of those seeking redemption, solidarity, the desire to bridge distances, to welcome, to create a more inclusive society. There’s the daily work that enters people’s homes and becomes substance; a dream that becomes change and social inclusion through an activity that combines commitment and hope.”

A Tool for “Compliance” and Transparent Reporting

Frolla has embraced the logic of Social Reporting to equip itself with an important internal management tool as well as accountability, meaning a tool for “compliance” and transparent reporting of decisions and responsibilities, behaviors, and social, environmental, and economic outcomes of the Cooperative’s activities.

In line with the drafting principles suggested by the guidelines, the Social Report has been developed considering the following principles:

  • Relevance and completeness of the information provided
  • Transparency, neutrality, and completeness of the reporting period
  • Comparability over time
  • Clarity
  • Truthfulness and verifiability of the data collected
  • Reliability and independence of third parties
